My name is Somtochukwu Davidson Obuzor, alias Sommy". I am a second generation student of Texas A&M University - Commerce. I am concurrently pursuing a Master of Science in Finance and Masters in Business Administration. Prior to my academic pursuit in Texas A&M University - Commerce, I have had corporate experience in Banking and the Midstream oil and gas sector respectively. I am currently a Graduate Assistant- Research in the Economics and Finance department; and a member of the prestigious Economics and Finance Society.
I believe an individual or organization cannot exist in isolation; therefore, in the course of the year I engaged in CSR projects within the Commerce/Campbell community; prominent among them was a talk delivered at a career fair held in Campbell early in 2017, this was done under the flagship of the Economics and Finance department. Apart from my interest in public speaking, I am also a poet, song writer, and a car enthusiast.
